Anne Bannerman

Anne began her career as a manual trader in 1997 trading for herself but quickly understood the complexities of fundamental and technical analysis with balanced and controlled risk being at the core of her trading success and longevity rather than profits. She became an early adopter of artificial intelligence and algorithmic trading, assembling a small team of developers to formulate trading strategies into portfolios to automatically trade the financial markets. She was at the forefront of online education with traders and investors logging into her presentations from around the world. She has worked with some of the largest international brokerages and survived many global financial upheavals.

Anne is the appointed Associate for Australia & New Zealand of JP Fund Services (JPFS), a Swiss regulated investment advisory firm in Switzerland, to provide her education, knowledge and experience of Alternative Investments. She is a member of the global 100 Women in Fintech and 100 Women in Finance and an Allied Professional of the Financial Advice Association of Australia (FAAA). Anne serves on the Committee of the Brisbane Chapter of the FAAA as well as on the Inspire Sub Committee, which is an important professional development initiative designed to bring diversity to the financial advice profession by supporting women in this field.
